A 12-inch cast iron skillet, pre-seasoned with vegetable oil and ready to use straight from the box.

Cast from a single piece of solid iron, this skillet is pre-seasoned three times with vegetable oil during manufacturing to provide a natural, food-safe cooking surface from the first use. The thick iron walls retain heat exceptionally well, making it well suited to searing steaks, baking cornbread, or finishing a frittata under the broiler. A helper handle on the opposite side of the main handle makes it easier to lift when the pan is loaded with a heavy roast or a full batch of skillet potatoes. Because the seasoning improves with each use, this skillet becomes more non-stick over years of cooking rather than degrading like coated pans. It can go from stovetop to oven to campfire without any change in performance.
