A 12-cup muffin pan with a heavy-gauge steel core and double nonstick coating for easy release.

Built from carbon steel that is rolled thicker at the center than at the edges, this muffin pan heats evenly so muffin tops dome and bake through at the same rate as the edges. Each of the 12 cups holds a standard 3.5-ounce portion and is coated with a two-layer PFOA-free nonstick system that lets muffins, cupcakes, and mini quiches drop out cleanly after a light release with a butter knife. Wide tabs on the short ends stay cool enough to grip with a folded towel and make it easy to pull the pan from the oven or slide it onto a cooling rack. The pan also doubles as a mold for egg bites, cornbread rounds, and individual meatloaves.
